Huawei will unveil the foldable Mate X3 smartphone on March 23 in China at an event starting at 2:30 p.m. local time. The company hasn’t revealed much about the foldable, but DSCC CEO Ross Young has revealed a few details about the Mate X3’s display.
Young says the Huawei Mate X3 will have a 7.85″ foldable display, which is 0.15″ smaller than the Mate X2’s foldable display. However, the diagonal of the cover display remains the same – 6.45″.
The DSCC boss also claimed that the Mate X3 will be Huawei’s first smartphone to use an Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), with screens manufactured by BOE.
More details about the Mate X3 may emerge in the days leading up to the March 23 event, where Huawei will also introduce the P60 series.
