Live A Live Demo Arrives Today, Save Data Transferrable

Update: The demo is now available to download on the eShop! Head on over there right now to check out the start of three of the game’s chapters, and prepare yourself for the game’s full release next month.


Original article: HD-2D remake Live A Live launches on Switch next month, and classic JRPG fans got a nice little surprise for the upcoming SNES classic, as later today a demo will be available to download.

Revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, the demo will allow you to play through the start of three of the game’s chapters — Imperial China, Edo Japan, and The Distant Future — and you’ll be able to transfer save data to the main game when it releases on July 22nd.

After the Direct, Nintendo also dropped a Treehouse video with around 40 minutes of gameplay. The two chapters on show during this video are the Wild West and the Near Future, with Live A Live composer Yoko Shimomura also making an appearance
