On World Sleep Day, Nagaland Minister’s Funny Tweet Leaves Internet Divided

Temjen Imna Along’s post was liked by thousands of users.

Temjen Imna Along, a popular politician from Nagaland who is well known for his amazing sense of humor and witty remarks on social media, has once again gone viral with a picture he posted on the occasion of World Sleep Day.

In the picture, Mr. Along is sitting in a room where several people are sleeping on chairs. This image is obviously intended to draw attention to long conferences and discussions where the attendees could not always pay attention to the topic and fell asleep in their seats.

Along with the photo, he wished his fans “Happy Sleep Day for the World!” and wrote, “Let’s take a moment to appreciate the people with small eyes, who remind us that being awake 24/7 is not always a choice!”.

An interesting photo and caption brought a lot of likes and comments to the tweet.

“Happy International Sleepover Day to you, Neta Ji!,” the user commented.

Appreciating the minister’s humility and sense of humor, another user wrote, “Sir, you ARE SPORTS. Really, it takes all the humility in the world to laugh at ourselves. Bless us with many leaders like you.”

A third user posted, “One benefit of these eyes is that you can take a short nap while pretending to be a listener.” taking over as minister.

Mr Along always updates his admirers and followers on his life, his advice and the beauty of his region.

A few days ago, he shared tweets that went back in time, sharing pictures from his home country. Those two pictures have also attracted a lot of attention and smiles on the internet due to their positive comments and interesting captions.

The first photo was of him posing for the camera. In his post, the minister wrote, “There is a lot to focus on, Magar Mera Timing toh Dekho!” (There are so many lenses to focus on, but watch my time.)

One was an amazing photo of a fascinating view of Kohima, the capital of the state.

The capital city looks incredibly attractive due to the thousands of lights burning brightly in the pitch black night in the picture.

Mr Along shared the picture with a caption that read, “The beauty of Kohima.”
