North Korean Agent Could Be Fired For ‘Kim Jong Un’ Internet Search

A North Korean agent may be shot dead by a firing squad after being shot doing an unauthorized search for Kim Jong Un on the Internet. The agent is one of several employees of Pyongyang’s Budowry 10—which conducts internal and external electronic communications surveillance—who were caught using their unusual web access for unauthorized purposes. Internet-based newspaper in Seoul Every day NK reports that a high-risk agent has searched for “Kim Jong Un.” The newspaper reports that agents of North Korea’s Ministry of State Security—”whose duty is to protect the Greatest Dignity (Kim Jong Un)” with their lives—may be shot for the search. The newspaper also alleged that it was “a fellow agent in the same department” who exposed the illegal browsing.
