Federal Judges Get Power to Release Their Private Information Online—And They’re Using It

As threats against federal judges reportedly increase, 1,000 federal judges have signed up for a program that allows their private information to be removed from the Internet.

The new program has arrived—and thrived—as members of Congress and the public have expressed concern about the federal government’s efforts to remove information from the Internet and demanded more accountability from law enforcement.
