COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Boone County government phone lines and Internet service went down Thursday morning but 911 was still available.
The regional government said the outage affected all areas including the government center, public security center, annex, public services and other offices. 911 and 311 remain operational, according to the news release.
The outage affected incoming and outgoing calls and regional websites, which were inaccessible. It was not immediately clear how long it would take to fix the problem.
