There is no wearable on the market that quite lives up to the Apple Watch. It’s not the best fitness tracker, but it’s the best smartwatch – and it does everything else (including fitness!) so well that nothing else comes close. The only downside? The price. That’s right, folks: The Apple Watch is an expensive piece of technology, but we also have good news. The Apple Watch is now on sale, and we’ve gathered the best deals on the web in one place. You’re welcome.
The first-generation Apple Watch SE is a solid smartwatch, and it’s one of the most affordable choices out there right now. It is waterproof up to 50 meters, so you can swim without taking it off. It’s also made with a 100% recycled aluminum finish, so you can be eco-friendly too.
The SE is available in three colors (Space Grey, Silver and Gold) and comes in 40mm and 44mm variants.
“I love it, it’s easy to read and it gets me going,” said one shopper. “I ordered the Apple Watch SE as it is compatible with my phone. I specifically ordered for fall detection as it is totally cheaper than the Lifeline, even with my health discount!”

Apple Watch SE (2nd generation)
The second-generation Apple Watch SE is largely identical to the first generation, save for a better processor — and it’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen for it.
$219 at Amazon
The second generation Apple Watch SE costs a little more than the first generation, but the differences are small. Most notably, an improved processor makes it faster and faster, but Apple also added an accelerometer to the Crash Detection feature. Another difference: The second-generation Apple Watch SE is $30 less than the first-generation model at MSRP.
All three color variants are also for sale. You can get this watch in Midnight, Starlight and Silver, and in both 40mm and 44mm configurations. The case itself is made of aluminum with an OLED screen for a crystal clear image, even in bright sunlight.
“I’ve been using this watch for a few months now and really like it. It’s great to see who’s calling without taking my phone out of my pocket every time my phone rings. I wish it had a face dial with larger day/date in the corner. My 64-year-old eyes can’t see the smaller Date or Temp in the corners. Being able to hang up on annoying spam calls from my watch, leaving my phone in my pocket, is the best feature,” said one five star reviewer.
If you want customization options, look no further than the Apple Watch Series 8. It’s one of the most powerful smartwatches around, with advanced sensors that detect everything from skin surface temperature to blood oxygen levels. You can even take an EKG whenever you want. When it comes to health tracking and daily use, this smartwatch is the bee’s knees.
The square watch is made from recycled aluminum – reducing carbon emissions during production by as much as 80% – and is available in four bright colours: Red, Midnight, Silver and Starlight. It’s also slightly larger than previous iterations, with 41mm and 45mm variants available. Apple says it should fit wrists between 130 and 180 mm.
“My 89 year old grandfather loves it. He would always complain about my mother’s solution to her concern for his safety as he is a hard of hearing, aging but independent, recent widower – Life Alert. It was bulky, uncomfortable, frankly outdated and $60/month!” said a shopper. “This smartwatch not only saves him money, but also helps him know someone’s calling with a gentle buzz of his wrist; tracks his sleep, heart rate AND oxygen levels; AND gives him a daily reminder when we set up his watch face to be a picture of him and my grandma. Couldn’t recommend enough to your independent single grandparents!”
While the Series 7 lacks an accelerometer – and therefore can’t pick up drop or crash detection – it’s a great smartwatch and a solid alternative to the Series 8 if you want both GPS and mobile for the same price. You also get three months of Apple Fitness+ for free with the purchase.
The Series 7 has the most color options of any Apple Watch, with five to choose from: blue, green, red, midnight and starlight. The Series 7 is also available in 41mm and 45mm variants and is constructed from recycled aluminium.
One happy mum said: “I got this as a Mother’s Day gift and absolutely love it. So many features; I learn something new almost every day. Would recommend to anyone.”
If all of these are a bit out of your price range, consider buying refurbished from Amazon. There are more options:
