The new “Galaxy Watch Rugged Sport Band” features a ripple design in a thick, flexible band design. The band is made of a fluoroelastomer material, just like the band included on Google’s Pixel Watch and also the Apple Watch. There is a buckle at the bottom with a design that places the excess ribbon in the loop instead of leaving it on the outside.

The band is sold in small/medium and medium/large sizes, currently only in black/white/grey color options. Samsung is also teasing green and taupe color options, but they don’t appear to be on sale yet.
The price lands at $49.99, and Samsung notes compatibility with the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 using their traditional spring pin connector. That price makes it a bit more expensive than Samsung’s regular sports band, but still one of the cheaper official band options.
