Amazon is bringing the Apple Watch Ultra beast down to its lowest price ever again

Normally priced at a whopping $799, the rugged The Apple Watch Ultra probably isn’t it best smartwatch… for everyone. You clearly have to have a very specific set of requirements and preferences to see this bad boy as a better choice than the “mainstream” Apple Watch Series 8, and of course you must also have the financial means to pay the aforementioned expense.

By no means and by no standards cheap, the Ultra is at least cheapis than usual right now, going for a total of 70 bucks below its list price on Amazon after an instant $20 discount and an additional $50 markdown automatically applied at checkout.

You can save that $70 on a ton of different models with small, medium, and large Alpine Loop bands, but unfortunately, if you prefer a Trail Loop or Ocean Band, you’re currently out of luck when it comes to deep price cuts.

Of course, even $70 still equates to less than 10 percent off the regular price of a cellular-compatible Apple Watch Ultra with a 49mm case made of super-rugged titanium, but this is a match for highest discount ever offered by a major US retailer like Amazon for the first time last month.

As such, we expect the killer new deal to disappear pretty much as quickly as the last one, meaning you might not have more than a few days to score a, say, reasonably priced Apple Watch Ultra.

The main selling points and strengths of this absolute tank of a smartwatch compared to those that The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, for example, includes a large, super-high-quality Always-On Retina display with up to 2000 nits of brightness, a customizable and thus extremely practical “action” button, first-class water, dust and corrosion resistance, as well as the most advanced health features Apple can currently offer.

Should you buy this item? Once again, it all depends on exactly what you needs from a smartwatch… and your attachment to all things Apple. But if you do will have to buy the Apple Watch Ultra, now is clearly the right time to pull the trigger.
