The Galaxy S23 series has impeccable camera hardware and its day-to-day performance is true to what the company claims. With its astronomical 200 MP camera, the Galaxy S23 Ultra gives you some of the most detailed photos you can take on a smartphone. The cherry on top of the cake for Galaxy S23 owners is the latest tip from a reliable tipster IceUniverse reveals that Samsung is planning a major update to the Galaxy S23 series that focuses on camera optimization.

Several owners of the Galaxy S23 series have been complaining about blurry photos taken using these phones for quite some time. Even the Galaxy S23 Ultra is not spared and reportedly does not live up to the mark. Since the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s primary 200MP camera delivers 12MP images due to the pixel binning effect, there should be less noise, sharper images and better dynamic range. But the users did not get the desired results.

The upcoming Galaxy S23 camera update may also improve Night Mode

If we pass by IceUniverse’s information, Samsung will roll out a camera optimization update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra in March. It is speculated that along with the improvements in image quality that these phones capture, the update will also touch on the shutter lag issue that is usually present on Samsung phones. We’d like to see it come close to Apple iPhones, which are among the best.

According to IceUniverse, the upcoming Galaxy S23 update will also improve Night Mode. Samsung has been accused of over-processing and sharpening images in night mode. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is guilty of the two siblings. The exact date of the update rollout is not mentioned, but you can expect the update to arrive at the end of March. There may also be a surprising knock on your Galaxy S23.
