Next weeks Xbox Game Pass brings Golden Eye, Age of Empires 2 and more

Microsoft has detailed the latest batch of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass by early February, including Golden Eye, Hi-Fi Rush, Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition for consoles, Darkest Dungeon, Hot Wheels Unleashed, and more.

Hi-Fi Rush is, of course, the newly announced (and rather splendid) rhythm adventure from developer Tango Softworks, coming today to Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Cloud via Game Pass. He will soon be joined by the legendary GoldenEye 007, which gets a makeover for Cloud and Xbox on January 27,

Next is the Game Preview version of the rogue-lite first-person shooter Roboquest (coming to Xbox on January 30), as well as Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition – which is getting a long-awaited console version, with support for controller and new tutorials, January 31.

The newly announced Hi-Fi Rush was released today.

In fact, January 31 is a somewhat busy release day for Game Pass; it also brings the Game Preview version of ink-themed strategy game Inkulinati, as well as the anime fighter JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R – both of which will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC.

Then February 2 ushers in Red Hook Studios’ excellent turn-based RPG Darkest Dungeon, inspired by Lovecraft (available on Cloud, Console, and PC), as well as the Cloud version of Grid Legends via EA Play. It’s not your only racing action of the month either; Hot Wheels Unleashed – Game of the Year Edition is coming to Cloud, Xbox, and PC on February 7.

But where there are hellos, there must also be goodbyes; Donut County, Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master, Telling Lies, and Worms WMD are all leaving Game Pass on January 31.

And for those who like things to be more succinct:

  • January 25 – Hi-Fi Rush (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X/S)
  • January 27 – GoldenEye 007 (Cloud and Console)
  • January 30 – Roboquest (console)
  • January 30 – Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (Cloud and Console)
  • January 31 – Inkulinati (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • January 31 – JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • February 2 – Darkest Dungeon (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • February 2 – Grid Legends (Cloud via EA Play)
  • February 7 – Hot Wheels Unleashed – Game of the Year Edition (Cloud, Console and PC)
