Giants vs. Lions score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis for Week 11 NFC showdown

After two quarters, the Detroit Lions are up 17-6 over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.

The Giants went three-and-out on their first drive. The Lions had more success on their first drive, scoring a field goal after marching down the field to get to the 6-yard line, but failing to convert on third down, having to settle for three.

The Giants offense bounced back from their rough first drive. Their decision to go for it on fourth-and-1 extended their drive, with running back Matt Breida running for four yards and the first down. Quarterback Daniel Jones capped off the 75-yard drive with a three-yard rush for the touchdown. The extra point was no good, as wind is playing a major factor in New Jersey today.

In the second quarter, Aiden Hutchinson gave the Lions the big play they needed, intercepting Daniel Jones and giving Detroit great field position. They took over at the Giants’ 18 yard line, and not long after Jamaal Williams ran it in to give the Lions the lead.

The Lions extended their lead right before the half ended, thanks to another Williams touchdown, this time a 1-yard rush. The extra point was good to make it 17-6. The half ended with the Lions sacking Jones.
