Watch: Princess Eugenie ‘so excited’ to be pregnant with her second child
Princess Eugenie has announced that she is pregnant with her second child.
Prince Andrew’s daughter has revealed on social media that she is expecting a baby “this summer” with husband Jack Brooksbank.
The couple, who married in 2018 at Windsor Castle, welcomed a son, August, in February 2021.
In an Instagram announcement, the 32-year-old royal shared a photo of August kissing her baby bump on a country walk.
“We are thrilled to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer,” she captioned the image.
The photo – taken by her 36-year-old businessman husband – has already received more than 15,000 likes, with many royal fans leaving congratulatory messages.
These included the husband of her older sister, Princess Beatrice, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who commented with “love heart” emoticons.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed the happy news that the niece of King Charles III is waiting for.
A statement read: “The family is thrilled and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother.”
The baby will become the 13th to the British throne after their eldest brother and ahead of their grandfather’s brother Prince Edward – and they will be called a simple master or a miss.
The Princess – who is the daughter of the late Queen’s son Prince Andrew and his estranged wife Sarah, Duchess of York – gave birth to her first child at Portland Hospital in London.

It’s where his cousin Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle welcomed their son Archie in May 2019.
She has remained close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and was featured in their recent Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries.
Her older sister Beatrice, 34, has a child – a daughter named Sienna, born in September 2021 – with her husband whom she married in 2020.
During an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, which took place last week, the Princess said she was raising her almost two-year-old son to be an ‘activist’ for climate change .
She revealed to Reuters that motherhood had “totally changed” her outlook on the environment and that “every decision” now belonged to her.

The late Queen’s granddaughter explained that they try “as much as possible” to live plastic-free as a family but it’s a “battle”.
She co-founded the charity The Anti-Slavery Collective in 2017 with her friend Julia de Boinville and currently works as the director of Hauser & Wirth art gallery.
