She said that Adira is already an understanding daughter, but as a mother she made a conscious decision to be able to balance work life with her child. She said the pandemic came as a blessing in disguise for her because it was easier for her to travel with Adira, who started homeschooling.
“When I’m doing the film now, it’s challenging. Adira is now in level 1 and going to level two, so of course we can’t let her go to school. So I have to start building strength to be able to be away. She’s kind of prepared for that too. I’ll have to see , what will happen to it in the future,” Rani told India Today.
He further said that he has decided to do one film a year because it is important for him to return home, spend time with Adira and do homework with her. She’s thankful that she can plan her day around that, because many moms can’t.
“There are days when I don’t have a chance to get home on time, so when you decide to be a professional, there are certain sacrifices you have to make. That’s what you have to make your kids understand. I think they will understand if you make them understand. In my case, both Adi and I and I are working parents, so Adira has had a good upbringing knowing she has two professional parents,” she added.
