Mila Kunis To Star With Michael Keaton In Comedy ‘Goodrich’ – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Mila Kunis is set to star opposite Michael Keaton in the comedy Goodrichwe can reveal.

Set in present-day Los Angeles during the holidays, the film, which is scheduled to shoot next month, tells the story of art dealer Andy Goodrich (Keaton), a man whose life is thrown into disarray when his younger second wife leaves him and he turns 90. -day rehabilitation program and at the same time threatens divorce. Goodrich takes charge of their nine-year-old twins and takes her into a world of modern parenting for which she is unprepared. With his career in tatters, he leans on his grown and pregnant daughter Grace for support and eventually becomes the father Grace never had.

As we previously revealed, Hallie Meyers-Shyer (Home again) is involved as a director. Jason Cloth and Dave Caplan’s C2 Motion Picture Group (Babylon) finance and produce together with Daniela Taplin Lundberg (The children are fine) Stay Gold Features and Kevin Mann (Together, together).

Amy Pascal (Spider-Man: No Way Home) serves as an executive producer alongside Keaton. CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group complete the domestic international treatment of Black Bear.

Fresh off Golden Globe, Emmy, Critics Choice and SAG wins for the Hulu series DopesickOscar-nominated Keaton to his more comedic roots Goodrich. This was one of the liveliest projects at last month’s EFM in Berlin, where buyers spoke to us fondly about the script. An extra strong casting was in the works, we were told at the time.

Kunis most recently produced and starred in Netflix Happiest Girl Alive, based on the book by Jessica Knoll. He was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2010 Black Swan opposite Natalie Portman and has starred in the Emmy-winning series Family man since 1999. He founded his production company Orchard Farm Productions with Cameron Curtis and Lisa Sterbakov.

Later this year, Keaton returns to his iconic role as Bruce Wayne/Batman Flash31 years since he last played the character.
