A week ahead John Wick: The Fourth Chapter arriving in cinemas, star Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski mourn the loss of their co-star Lance Reddick, who passed away today at the age of 60.
“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend and colleague Lance Reddick,” the couple said in a statement. “He was a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. Our love and prayers go out to his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly.”

Lionsgate, the studio behind the action franchise, said in a statement today:
“Wick’s World would not be what it is without Lance Reddick and the unprecedented depth he brought to Charon’s humanity and unwavering charisma. Lance leaves behind an indelible legacy and an enormously impressive body of work, but we will remember him as our wonderful, joyful friend and concierge. We are amazed and heartbroken, and our deepest condolences to his beloved family and his fans around the world.
Reddick played Continental Hotel concierge and Wick collaborator Charon in all four John Wick movies and its 2019 video game. His long list of credits also includes a string of recurring roles Wire, Fringe, Bosch and Companyas well as dozens of TV guest spots and movies, incl Godzilla vs. Kong, One Night in Miami, Sylvie’s Love, Faith Based and An angel has fallen.
