Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson yesterday shared a video of his “full circle” moment backstage at the Oscars when he reunited with Brendan Fraser, his co-star from 2001. The mummy returns.

Although we can’t hear what the two old friends are saying—the music is too loud—the reunion seems happy. Fraser, who won an Oscar for his role in The Whale, even introduces sons Leland, 16, and Holden, 18, Black Adam pace.
“Very cool full circle moment here with my longtime friend Brendan Fraser and his boys,” Johnson wrote in an Instagram post. “The first film of my Hollywood career was The Mummy Returns, which starred Brendan. Many critics and cynics were rallying against me at the time, but Brendan welcomed me with open arms and was very supportive.
“I’ll never forget the kind people. Now years later, Brendan won the Academy Award for Best Actor in ‘The Whale’ and I became famous for wearing fanny packs. Congrats bro – enjoy your flowers.”
