Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again set for Diwali 2024 release; shooting to begin in July 2023: Bollywood News

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, longtime friends and collaborators, are reuniting Singham again. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, who has previously worked with Shetty Chennai Express and recently came a picture circus. Although the project is in pre-production and is still in progress, the makers have reportedly locked the release date of the film. It has been reported that the Ajay Devgn – Deepika Padukone starrer Singham again shooting will begin in July 2023. The makers are eyeing a Diwali 2024 release date.

Rohit revealed, “Everyone knows that my next film is Singham again, which belongs to the police universe. Every time I get asked “Lady Singham kab aayegi?”. Toh Singham again mein Lady Singham ayegi.”

Rohit Shetty added, “She’s my female cop from the cop universe. So we’ll be working together next year itself.”

Apart from Devgn, Ranveer Singh’s Simba and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi is also set to appear in the film. A source recently said Bollywood Hungama“It’s a whole cop universe, and like the Marvel universe, where the movie featured cameos from other members, Singham again there will also be screenshots. As in Simba in which both Ajay and Akshay did cameo videos, albeit after the releases and later Sooryavanshi where Ranveer and Ajay were spotted, Singham again also featuring Akshay and Ranveer.

The source added: “These films are planned to coincide with each other, so it stands to reason that all three will appear in each other’s films.” But will they lead to a joint climactic film, as in the case of Marvel, and the source adds: “There is still time for that, but there will certainly be something great that will complete the saga of the police universe when it happens”.

In the first part Singham, Ajay Devgn’s character Bajirao Singham fights gangster-turned-politician Jaykant Shikre (Prakash Raj). In The Return of Singhamthe audience saw him up in arms against the bogus spiritual guru Babaji (Amole Gupte) and minister Prakash Rao (Zakir Hussain).
