Sotheby’s International Realty has listed a 305-acre property in Hinsdale County that has more than 30 patented mining claims and “several” historic mining buildings.
The southwest Colorado ghost town, which also features ponds, creeks and “seemingly never-ending views,” is available for $925,000.
“When you arrive at the property, you can feel the history,” the ad says. “Ore was originally found in the Carson Mining District in 1881, and countless people came to the area over the years in search of their fortune.”
The listing also highlights the property’s versatility. It says the “historic masterpiece” could be used as a family retreat, hunting lodge, summer camp or ski outfit.
“Don’t miss the chance to own such a historic property,” the ad reads.
